Teaching Theology and Religion generally
publishes reviews of books and resources about teaching and learning:
A good book review does more than summarize the book. It places
the book in a larger context of scholarship; it makes explicit
application to the institutional context of our readers; it
considers the book in relation to theological education or
religious studies in the liberal arts; it describes the value
and usefulness that the book might have for busy scholars and
teachers. Reviews are intended to identify books and other
resources that can help professors become better teachers,
to focus on “good conversation” about teaching,
and to be reflective practitioners in their role as teachers.
