Course Description


A continuation of THEO 597 which completes the elements of Greek grammar and begins the reading of New Testament texts. Emphasis will be placed on understanding how the grammar works and how this knowledge can be applied in exegeting New Testament texts. The course can be assessed on a pass/fail basis.

Students who wish to further their facility in Greek will be prepared to take THEO 697 Intermediate New Testament Greek, a half-course extending over the fall and winter terms.

Prerequisite: THEO 597 The Language of the New Testament
